They were born free. They will stay free.
The two birds in the picture are wild birds.

One day a colorful pigeon flew and dashed against my window pane and collapsed. I resuscitated the bird and kept it in a cage and watched it recover.

Three days later another bird, a king fisher, flew into the same window pane and was also knocked out. I also resuscitated the second bird and kept in another cage.

As they recovered I realized that they must be set free as they were born free.

I then penned this poem to remind me of this two birds which came to my garden and gave me a lot of joy.

“They came to me out of nowhere
They were beauties to behold
I could cage them but no
They were born free
They will stay free
My garden friends. ”

will he set (non-white) political prisoners free?

will he send back colourful FTrash?

Or he just like to kong jiao wei? :D

For goodness sake, if want to put bird food in the house, leave the glass panel windows open. If not, hide them from bird's eye view. Or maybe he put a super big fish tank near the window to attract a king fisher? Will he be spending more time penning poems inside the Istana? Especially those hidden and juicy undisclosed happenings would be good.:D

If an RSAF pilot crashed into his house, will he set him free if he recovers?

1) He is the Birdman of Alcatraz?
or
2) One Cuckoo flew over the rest?

I think it refers to the bird between the legs. Must set it free also...

I think I got it! Set colourful birds free ..... something to do with OPERATION SPECTRUM!!

What he is implying that he is a puppet of another wooden puppet, a proxy; that is.

you all very funny...trying to decipher something written in 2001.

I am suspicious because all his other blog posts carry clear messages of his ambition for presidency. This one in particular just sticks out from the rest.

The birds in the picture also look artificially coloured. (I have never seen a multicoloured pigeon. do they exist really?)

no such thing as colourful pigeon. so how can you set it free when it doesn't exist in the place. ergo, the singaporean as a political animal does not exist. so nothing to set free. :D

Green pigeons... very common in Singapore, we seldom see them because they are always in the trees in forested areas. they are not scavengers ...
