Muslims believe and at the same time, reject the idea that their quran was written by humans. They want to accord their quran the highest ultra divine status, so the idea that the quran was written by humans is blasphemous. Yet, the hard truth is that the quran was never compiled in the lifetime of their founder muhammad. It was compiled decades after his death, from a scattering of his speeches written down by various people at that time. You can treat it like a canonization of his speeches, just like how the various books of the Bible were assembled by the leading priests of the day to form today's Bible.
Ok,for folks who want to know more ..Kutai Negara is a regency with many towns ...myself very very familiar with the area...the new capital is said to be between Balikpapan and Samarinda ..had rode through the only winding road many times too Nothing but forested area except some dayaks villages here and there ...the forest once had huge fire and you would see an entire trees in burnt charcoal studs ...it’s also huge orang utan habitat
now ,Balikpapan is an oil town ...the cleanest city in Indonesia...mostly expats ...very little crime ..direct flight to Singapore...lovely place but pricey
Samarinda is a cow boy town and a former timber town ...quite seedy .. in the past I could only access by charter. flight the 4 seater typos
the peculiarity of these region is contract marriages ...in short if you are stationed for 4 months there than a marriage is possible for only 4 months where a fixed amount is agreed upon ...of course you have to up front lah

Ok first thing first Dayak ladies are indeed lovely ones ...they are not materialistic ...but locals don’t want to mess with them because was told if they like you would be charmed by them ...don’t know how true ..,the contract marriages are serviced by ladies from all over Indonesia since Kalimantan is inhabited mostly by floating population...gels from Bali most into it .,,never seen Kutai lasses into it either .,,a lot of local pride
now one must understand Balikpapan is very developed port city and its policing is too notch ..,maybe hicjaket heading to open loading area ..and if Indo navy is involved they don’t go for Peanuts ...30k is peanuts...believe me
