Taiwanese man reportedly missing in the Philippines

Taipei, Feb. 15 (CNA) Family members of a Taiwanese business man who is believed to be missing in the Philippines on Sunday released photos and contact information on the Internet in hopes of broadening search efforts.

Taiwanese business man Chen Chin-tien (陳進添) checked in at a hotel in Manila on Feb. 6, but failed to return home as scheduled on Feb. 11.

The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines have since been alerted and is working with local police to find Chen.

According to the Taiwan representative Office, Chen was last seen leaving the Manila hotel at 7 a.m., Feb. 7, and he had told hotel staff that he intended to lengthen his stay.
