Taiwanese man commits suicide in Philippines after killing family

Manila, Philippines Feb. 7 (CNA) A Taiwanese man living in San Juan of Metro Manila has committed suicide after allegedly killing four other family members, Philippine media reported Saturday.
Hsieh Wei-chou (謝維洲), 50, is believed to have killed his wife, his 18-year-old daughter and two sons, aged 15 and 12, respectively, according to the media reports.
It was unclear how Hsieh killed himself and his family.
Hsieh said in his suicide note that he "decided to take the whole family away" because he owed a large sum of money at usurious interest rates and had no way of repaying the money.
