On the afternoon of 24 July 2012 a "hit and run" accident at the junction of Zhongshan Road
and Wai Ming Street intersection. A white Yulon sedan driven by a male driver was seen trying
to beat the red light when it mowed down four motorcycles in the junction box.
The driver was seem to stop momentously to a assess the situation before hopping back into
the car and speed off despite the fact that some of the fallen motorcyclists were injured.

Unfortunately for the getaway driver, he could not have foreseen that the whole incident was
captured on the dash cam of the car behind which clear displayed his car registration number
"R6-5427". With this piece of evident, Yuanlin traffic unit was able to quickly identified the
vehicle owner and ferret out the errant driver.
However, netizens were quick to point out a disturbing situation where an ambulance was
noticed passing by after the accident without stopping to assist or render assistance but
speed off as if nothing had happened!
