How come the tai chi master never use his 'chi' to deflect the Mma chap? Learning tai chi is also about cultivating the 'chi'.. maybe this master is a fake ....maybe should get this Viet guy to hamtam the Mma guy..

take a defense approach using center line technique and maintain distance from strike. traditional boxers have deadly punch at arms lenght, keep away from that, dodge and wait for the strike time.

The bahyi's kung fu is pretty good. I think he may have been faster in his young days. It's pretty good for the street, if you are willing to stab someone. People don't always bring only their fists to a fight in the streets.


I am currently taking some lessons on Indian style "palm strike", quite similar to chink bagua zhang. I think this may come in handy someday for self defense in a road rage brawl against an oppie.

Chink martial arts have no real substance. It's too flashy and lacks real combat experience, regardless what their origins claim. It's hard to believe that chink martial arts have no exposure to grappling like wrestling or judo, which is what people would naturally engage in, when they fight in close quarters. The fight naturally goes to the ground, but in chink martial arts, people fight mainly with their fists and kick awkwardly with their legs.

I am glad that chink did us all a favour and exposed tai chee for the fake art it really is.

when the pax loses his art is blamed......... when it is his incompetence in mastery of the art plus his version of taiji is not suited to take MMA unlike Chen jia taiji with slow n smooth flow to sudden bursts of power strokes
