Latakia province: A man accused of “practicing Tashbih” was shot dead by members of the General Security forces after they had stormed Al-Safarqeyah area near Al-Qardahah in Latakia countryside, using several vehicles and firing directly at the man’s house.

The Syrian Observatory has documented the death of 539 people, including 14 women and seven children, in murder crimes and eliminations that come under retaliatory actions in different Syrian provinces since early 2025. Here is a regional distribution of fatalities:

Damascus: 12 fatalities.

Rif Dimashq: 53 fatalities, including one woman, among them were six persons whose death was based on sectarian affiliation.

Homs: 194 fatalities, including ten women and three children, among them were 76 people whose death was based on sectarian affiliation.

Hama: 106 fatalities, including one woman and one child, among them were 41 people whose death was based on sectarian affiliation.

Latakia: 41 fatalities, including a woman and two children, among them were 23 people whose death was based on sectarian affiliation.

Aleppo: 32 fatalities.

Tartus: 58 fatalities, including a woman and a child, among them were 37 people whose death was based on sectarian affiliation.

Idlib: 14 fatalities.

Al-Suwaidaa: Two fatalities, among them was a person whose death was based on sectarian affiliation.

Daraa: 23 fatalities.

Deir Ezzor: Four fatalities.
