Deir Ezzor province: A man from Abu Hardoub town was shot dead by members of an ISIS cell for practicing “witchcraft” and committing “heresy” in Al-Marawaniyah area which is controlled by SDF in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
SOHR has documented 60 operations carried out by ISIS, including armed attacks and explosions targeting military and security forces, in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration since early 2025. According to SOHR statistics, these operations left 23 fatalities:

- Five ISIS members.
- Five civilians.
These operations and casualties they left are distributed regionally as follows:
- Deir Ezzor: 49 attacks left nine combatants, an ISIS member and five civilians, including a man accused of “practicing witchcraft,” dead and ten other people injured.
- Al-Hasakah: Eight attacks left four ISIS members, two members of Asayish Forces and an SDF fighter dead and two others injured.
- Al-Raqqah: Three attacks left an Asayish member dead and three others injured.
