It is not green in anyway. Transmission loss will be huge, the amount of toxins will leak into the environment during the production and end-of-life for the solar panels.

Its better to build hydro in sumatra and cable the power to sinkie. It has to be earthquake proof of course.
Or lay down a huge floating solar in the sea yo a power pack such as a battery or a liquid air energy stirage system which can be easily converted using a used lng vessel.
