Hey! C'mon fellas, firstly, it's her column, she can say what she wants to. Secondly, she is right.

All big important urban centres the world over are experiencing huge changes in their social landscape, Sg is no different. On top of this, Sg is a city-state with no hinterland (like KL, Jakarta) to tap labour from, this has to come from overseas.

All said, Sg is an international city. The least you guys can do is to stand united on some kind of minimum wage policy. Sg is not a cheap place to live. You think these immigrants/FTs have it easy here? Go check again.
