<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"--><!-- 4 or less paragraphs so show all paragraphs first before showing the media and bkstry and stuffs --><!-- story content : start -->'Appreciation for a teacher seems to last only as long as she is teaching you or you are a student of the school.' <!-- story content : start -->JOVEN LIEW: 'I am a Secondary 4 student and this year, I am visiting my primary school to see my former teachers to mark Teachers' Day. None of my friends was keen when I asked them to join me. Appreciation for a teacher somehow seems to last only as long as she is teaching you or you are a student of the school. As time goes by, teachers who taught us become a distant memory. Teachers care, lead and inspire, and they feel their profession is valuable when students express their appreciation. The presence of their former students is enough, whether they bear gifts or not.'

Joven Liew is sure that the teachers are still with the school?, they would have made enough money to MOVE ON..unlike in our days, 30 to 40 years later...you go back to school, and find your old physics teacher is still alive & around..and just retiring! :D
