[Straits Times] - "Remove the CPF Medisave Contribution Cap" says Patrick Lee

Patrick Lee wrote to the Straits Times, requesting the Government to "Remove cap on Medisave contribution for Singaporeans", and his letter is published in the Straits Times today, giving the PAP and CPF Board the opportunity to announce, "Sounds good, ok we'll implement this, and remember, you Singaporeans wanted this".

Of course all this comes as the phenomenon of a rapidly aging population becomes more obvious.
Very soon the proportions among the Ordinary, Special and Medisave accounts will be adjusted in favour of a far larger proportion for the last.

CPF under the British was the Central Provident Fund. Since 1984, it became the Central Pension Fund or more accurate personalized pension tax.
