I think there should be a clearly defined set of rules so we know what we can or cannot do. I'm pretty sure more then a few are staying away in case they get banned for posting something they are not supposed to.

Since U appointed them to police this place, they should be able to come up with a short list of extremely undesirable behavior that requires intervention

Like I said, the pple in charge of policing should be the ones defining it. I'm just asking for a very General set of ground rules don't need to go into details. obviously "Civilized behavior" is too general. It should at least be down to the level of "No Profanity, flame war, racial remarks, etc". If you say no Profanities then we'd assume it covers everything from Fuck to knnbccb. Terms like which are not as common in SG may fall into the grey area balls and bugger which should be up to the moderator's digression.

The general set of rules is just to let the users aware of what can and cannot be done. The moderators job is to let them know if/when they cross the line and take action against repeat offenders. I'm assuming most of the 'Moderators" would have had experience in some of those forums and know how to behave accordingly

Since U appointed so many moderators, U should take a hands off approach on things and let them handle this.

but I like to type "this f**king moron" ...i think it expressed the sort of sentiments I have regarding this chap - i feel its perfectly fine.

I am not voting as I think the Original Courtyard Cafe will now be in good hands. Nevertheless if many feel this folder is good I will go along with it. As this is an adult forum, we should not fell squeamish about four letter words unless it is aimed at members or uttered in a rude manner.
