State media: Lee plans to give up wealth for people

According to Straits Times, Lee said he will continue to give away his entire monthly presidential salary of S$15,290 to low-income households for the rest of his five-year term.

Now, President Lee’s monthly salary is only a little more than our MPs’ monthly allowance of S$13,000 on top of the pay they are drawing in their respective professions.
