S'pore coffee shops to increase price of tea and kopi by 10 to 30 cents (to start with) due to rising costs

Abolish the carbon tax and the 'water conservancy tax', and maybe bring the GST down to 5%.

You will keep prices low, war or no war, or even when war breaks out in the South China Sea.

I din know we get our coffee and tea from Iran via Straits of Hormuz
You need fertilizers to grow coffee beans and tea leafs and gas to brew them. Adding to the cost, is exploitation, greed, pretense. silence.

PAP greed knows no limits. They are more ruthless than the Mafia when it comes to collecting money from S'poreans.

The one you going to make at home will also increase prices unless your claim is cheaper to make at home then ok.
for one lonely unker it’s more convenient to walk to nearest kopitiam and pay $1.20 for kopi. no point scrimping and scraping the bottom of barrel just to save a few cents. walking helps the joints and muscles plus the heart too. otherwise sinkie unkers may as well stay home, brew own kopi, drink, pee, and die alone without anyone knowing about it until bodily fluids seep thru’ floor for neighbor below to appreciate the aroma of once home-brewed and drank kopi.

When a person complains about the unreasonable hike in coffee and tea prices at eateries, it does not mean he wants to completely stop drinking those beverages; it means that he wants to pay less for them.
