yes bro. he was awarded the PSC Lms. Not totally flawless, nobody is perfect. but he is generally a good person. I am glad he is vested such powers in the SPF

Years ago, mention SI and that chap gets alot of respect from his men. Members of public too. SIs were lau chiaos and most were truly tested. These days SIs are too young. Some still wet behind the ears. Dont have the full facts so not fair for me to comment on his orders to take cover. But wont be surprised he took no risks at all.

Does this means the role is Deputy to the Assistant who is Asst to the Deputy Commissioner which is asst to the Senior Deputy ??? Just like adding layers to management titles, i.e. Asst. Manager, Deputy Manager, Section Manager, Department Manager, Senior Manager, Director, Senior Director, VP, Senior VP, Executive VP,......

This may be a way to get promotion every year and get increment.

Change Of Command Ceremony At Bedok Police Division



Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Police (DAC) Moh Tser Loong Alvin will assume command of Bedok Police Division from Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Police (DAC) How Kwang Hwee on 8 July 2013 .

DAC Alvin Moh ( 莫泽珑 ), 32, joined the Singapore Police Force ( SPF ) in 1999 and has held various key appointments, including Head (Economic Strategy) at the Ministry of Finance, Head Operations & Training at Ang Mo Kio Police Division, and Deputy Director (Immigration and Registration) in the Policy and Operations Division, Ministry of Home Affairs . He has just returned from post-graduate studies at Stanford University .

DAC How Kwang Hwee ( 侯光辉 ), 33, has served as Commander of Bedok Police Division since 18 July 2011 and will be proceeding for post-graduate studies at Stanford University . Under his strong leadership, the Division has made several high-profile arrests such as the swift arrest of three unemployed men involved in slashing a victim with a knife at Tampines St 81 in March 2013, resulting in the victim’s entire nose being sliced off. He also led and took part in numerous security operations, such as the Hougang By-Election, Presidential Election, F1 Races and Singapore Air Show. DAC How graduated with a Master of Engineering Science from Oxford University through the prestigious Singapore Police Force Overseas Scholarship in 2002.
