Son pours acid into dad’s mouth

A 65-YEAR-OLD man died after his drunken son poured acid into his mouth while he was asleep in their house in Pattabiram, Chennai, reported Tamil Nesan.
Pattabiram police inspector M.G. Sundar said E. David, a retiree, had three daughters and three sons. His third son Anthony, 39, was unemployed. An alcoholic, he used to harass his father for money.
On Sunday morning, when his mother had gone to buy milk, Sundar poured acid into his father’s mouth and fled.
Hearing David’s cries, neighbours rushed him to the Kilpauk Medical College Hospital.
Doctors said David was brought in a critical condition, adding that his internal organs had suffered severe damage. David did not respond to treatment and died on Thursday.
Anthony was nabbed in a drunken state on Thursday afternoon and charged with murder.
