Cancer patient gang-raped, seeks help from commuter who rapes her again

LUCKNOW: A 15-year-old blood cancer survivor was raped twice on Saturday night in Lucknow's Sarojininagar, first by two youths and then by a passerby from whom she sought help.
The police have arrested the passerby, identified as Virendra Yadav of Banthara, and are on the lookout for the other two accused.
In her statement to the police, the girl said she left home around 9pm and met an acquaintance who took her to a secluded area, where he and his friend raped her.
The teen then sought help from a commuter and got assaulted by him too.
The girl's father lodged a complaint at the Sarojininagar police on Sunday morning.
