SINGAPORE: WTA Finals commentator Kevin Skinner found himself the target of online backlash after he reportedly signed off from the broadcast on Sunday (Oct 27) saying "Goodbye! From China!". The WTA Finals were held in Singapore.

Several social media users decried the comment as “ignorant” and “awkward”, while the faux pas also triggered responses from blogger mrbrown and television host Hossan Leong.- CNA/xk

""I made a serious mistake. I signed off saying Singapore 11x & said China once. This is not acceptable. I apologize to those I have offended - Kevin Skinner""

this skinner must've tasted a juicy chink twat that he found unforgettable....
note the subtle linkage to xi jinping when he stated the 11 times happenstance :p

Like some people like to say, "Its an honest mistake, lets move on "

He may be confused by the people he met here who all seems to be mainland Chinese who cannot understand or speak English- eg Singapore national ping pong team ,food stall owners in peoples park, girls in geylang and the constant mention of China in the media eg LHL,TCH in China, Suzhou IP, Tianjin Eco-City and the old man in Chinese/mandarin outfit or robes who always appear on TV surrounded by bodyguards.

it seems to me china higher ranking officials can't be bothered with sinkieland...:o
