Long hunts, few replies: Singapore university graduates finding it tough in job market, CNA poll shows
In a straw poll of 105 recent fresh graduates, 28 had yet to secure a full-time job. Among them, a quarter said they were not confident about finding one in the next six months.
When parents send their children to university .. they expect them to have a higher starting point than other children.

I think it’s good that parents send their children to technical institutes to learn, train & get a skill based certificate. The course fee for a technical certificate is much cheaper than the university degree course fee
