My indian singaporean friend had been jobless for few years. He traveled to India and get a citizenship there, studied in Uptron University.

After that he immediately secured a lucrative job in Singapore under CECA framework

When parents send their children to university .. they expect them to have a higher starting point than other children.

Good paying jobs are expected for local university graduates but then … the employers & hiring managers preferred someone with papers from dubious institutions

I think it’s good that parents send their children to technical institutes to learn, train & get a skill based certificate. The course fee for a technical certificate is much cheaper than the university degree course fee
