Building dorms near HDB flats accomplishes nothing. Just some stupid politician virtue signalling about how the precious foreign workers are part of the Singapore family/story etc, so they should be allowed to mingle with the locals who in turn should appreciate their contributions to nation-building etc.

One highrise office tower wld hold 20,000 workers and they hv basement parking lot converted into recreation facilities, pubs, pingpong tables, snookers games, and more impotantly jackpot machine games rooms to recoup some costs....
In the middle of the tiwer block cam also convert into games room, massage palours, suana rooms, swimming pools, canteen or fast food centre.
At the rooftop they can grow plants and gardens, rest and see skyview and feel at home...
