S’pore lady cancels GrabHitch booking. Driver loses his mind, calls her a whore

Private hire car apps like Uber and Grab have become industry disruptors mainly because of their ability to streamline the traditional taxi business.
One of the ways they have done this is by making things easier. It’s easier to book rides, to see where your rides are, and cancel your booking if you perhaps change your mind.
That last component is every bit an essential function as the others are, but which drivers will inevitably have to deal with.
It seems one GrabHitch driver, however, did not get the memo.
Losing temper
Twitter user Jayne posted these screenshots of a conversation she had with a Grab driver who was not happy she had cancelled on a booking.
The conversation revealed that the argument was about a GrabHitch booking.
For the uninitiated, GrabHitch is basically a carpooling service that partners regular drivers with riders to share their journeys. These bookings are usually made in advance of between five minutes and seven days.
