To all critics and bad-mouthers who allege that the Sinkie gabrament, including thick-skinned PAP MP Lee Bee Wah, has no right to claim credit for Joseph Schooling's gold medal win at Rio Olympics Games, read what the Sinkie state-controlled press has to say:

Based on the above it appears that Joseph Schooling has been receiving monetary help from the Sinkie gabrament. As long as you receive financial help from the PAP, even if the amount is just 10 Singapore cents, a bowl of mee siam mai hum or a few chicken wings, the Sinkie gabrament will claim credit.

Lets say you are right in the above post. I go one up on you and lets say the govt did not spend $90K. but lets say they spend $1 million. So, after receiving all this financial help, the govt then proceeds to flush all this money down the toilet by demanding this boy do NS at the peak time of his training and preparations for the Olympics? Does this make sense? If this the case, then its even worse, because the govt having spend all that money knowingly wants to waste it all. I rather they just support FT atheletes who don't have to do NS.
