Singh VS Singh and the fake oppo that is Workers Party

Some says that he is scare of the party whip.

Maybe it is time to give him a blanket party :D

The blanket doesn't need to be very long, but it needs to be quite wide.
And considering that there were quite a number of hard truths in what he said (perhaps more than what was intended lol), the colour of the blanket may even be white. :D

OIC, thks for the info, so he was there but he didn't vote? Liddat can meh? Or do we go back to the pangsai theory? :D

Inderjit was in Parliament that day. But just before the vote count was taken, he left the chamber. Whip was in place. He was one of the few PAP MPs who vehemently criticized the white paper.

Thanks for the clarification.

And that is why when it is MIW party vs Opposition party, ALWAYS vote Opposition party, no matter what party and which candidate. ;)

Agree. Like the TS, I'm not impressed with WP's parliamentary performance so far. But what we need now is numbers – not that quality isn't important – to reach the critical 1/3 mark. Significantly sizeable increase in oppo representation will also curtail Pappy high-handedness in clamping down on civil dissent through oppressive means (defamation lawsuits, sedition charges, ISA) and ramming bills through parliament.

You will be kidding if you think I am impressed with the likes of RP (even if it is led by a JBJ scion), SFP (a bunch with high IQ low EQ) or the SDP even if I rate it the second-best. But in every GE I have voted for these parties and the most bizarre candidates you can imagine.

WP's parliamentary performance is as i have foreseen and is well within my expectations. Beggars can't be choosers so you need to deal with it.
