Beyond the cursing of scholar generals, some of them do have the leadership style to lead armed forces. Some dont. You can't lump all of them in one category.

We did send one stars to combat areas. Bernard Miranda (see my earlier post) Unfortunately, they didnt choose him to be Chief of Navy

Is a group of 3 brothers from the NG family....

Brother 1 is Singapore's Chief of Navy Rear-Admiral Ng Chee Peng, 41.

Brother 2 - RADM Ng has a sibling in the top rungs of the military: Major-General Ng Chee Meng, 43, the Chief of Air Force.

Brother 3 - They also have an elder brother, Major-General (NS) Ng Chee Khern, the former air force chief. He now heads the Security and Intelligence Division.

Previously we had 2 BGs from the CHIN family......

Unless one of them sacrifice and marry LWL, otherwise they will just retire as top civil servants.

I think all three are smart enough to avoid pap. Anyway they are not the kiss babies type, so better to stay in bureaucracy. TCJ and kee Chiu must be regretting their decision 2 years ago.
