I have seen many MacDonald and other delivery crews riding malaysian motorcycles to deliver food. Others are Singaporeans with their singapore motorcycles or PMDs.

The malaysians dont have to pay COEs for their motorcycles. So the singaporeans are disadvantaged. The malaysians earn SG dollar converts every dollar to 3.06RM to buy cheap petrol, cheap housing and cheap food in JB.

Singaporeans are discriminated by their own country because of a bad government.

Let us Singaporeans fight for Singaporeans and not allow our own citizens be disadvantaged

the problem is there aren't enough sinkie riders and drivers to meet the high demand of deliveries. restaurants have no choice but to employ foreign riders and drivers. which nationality of foreigners are most readily available, able to speak English, Mandarin and Malay and live near Singapore? Malaysians of course.

Many Singaporeans do not know. They don't get to see the rows and rows of Malaysian-registered vehicles at the Customs every day. They see the parked Malaysian vehicles at the car parks but not the Malaysian workers carrying out the servicing works.

It's the PAP-led government that's the causative agent. Punish the $$$elf-$$$erving PAP LEEches. The PEOPLE which include the ordinary YOU and I are just manipulated pawns in the carefulLEE orchestrated play.

Singapore's Smart Nation project is a worthwhile and praise-worthy initiative.
However, it should not be used by $$$elf-$$$erving LEEders to manipulate or exploit.
No LEEder should use it as a platform to deride or degrade other countries.
The knowledge and experiences should be shared.
Technological advancement is ever-changing.
The tallest tower in the world does not stay in one country.

These factories are going to relocate any way. I don't see the need to be dependent on mudland workers anyway. They cannot fulfill the maid demands. They no longer available in Geylang. They just take PMET jobs from singkies n scholarships too...so open the door to them for wat? More cons than pros.

SINGAPORE: The two trees that fell at Sembawang Park on Thursday (Dec 20) were last inspected in May last year and assessed to be healthy, said the National Parks Board (NParks) in a media statement on Friday.
One of the trees, an Erythrophleum suaveolens about 21 metres tall, fell and crushed a pavilion where several people attending a Christmas party were taking cover during a thunderstorm on Thursday evening.
Another tree, a Tabebuia rosea, was also uprooted.
A total of 14 people were taken to hospital.
