A Singaporean businessman was found dead in his home on Sunday in Philippines.

Fifty-year-old Peter Lee Choi Ping was found dead by his driver with a wound at the back of his neck.

His 18-year-old helper Oreste Cortes Orejudos Junior, who was last seen being reprimanded by Mr Lee, has fled. All his belongings are no longer in his quarters,

Mr Lee's personal items, such as his wallet and mobile phone, are missing.

Mr Orejudos had asked for a cash advance from Mr Lee on the day before the incident but was denied.
