a case of thinking too much and talk too much.... the term Taiwanese Military Experts are use loosely on these clown.

If Taiwanese people actually believe even half what these idiots say, than they are even dumber than sinkies. Like as if the USN will base an Independence class LCS-2 boat at Changi. Total nonsense.

hahaha....empty vessel makes the most noise.
Quote from US Secretary of Defense on 4 June 2011, Shangri-La dialogue:
In Singapore, we are strengthening our bilateral defence relationship within the context of the Strategic Framework Agreement and pursuing more operational engagement, most notably by deploying US Littoral Combat Ships to Singapore. We are examining other ways to increase opportunities for our two militaries to train and operate together, to include prepositioning supplies to improve disaster response, improving command and control capabilities, and expanding training opportunities to help prepare our forces for the challenges both militaries face operating in the Pacific.

Are u stupid by nature or deliberately? A Strategic Framework Agreement means nothing. Until u actually see an Indpendence class USN ship in S'pore, its all conjecture. The real positioning of US equipment and other defence agreements with singapore are all classified. U will never know what they have here, how many and how much. The exact relationship between the 2 countries is secret, and is not available in any public "framework" agreement. The Sec Def throws up these types of smoke screen all the time to scare the Chinese into a frenzy planning for this contigency. U are talking about a new class of warships, with huge cost overuns, technical problems, performance problems, secret technology, and with doubt whether they will even build more, and u expect the USN to base it here in a sea of muslims? There is a reason why S'pore is not a homeport for the USN. U will have the Chinese, and the muslim neighbours screaming blue murder. As well, if you operate this LCS-2 in the SC Sea without a CBG, u are asking for trouble. Think a little before u start cutting and pasting.

hahaha.....traits of an empty vessel:
1. rants & rants & rants
2. thinks he knows better than all the analysts and experts on this planet but actually poor power of comprehension;
don't even know the difference between a home port and a support base; not to mention very superficial knowledge of naval warfare, tactics and strategy.

double confirmed......an empty vessel.

Actually the USN will forward deploy up to 4 Littoral Combat Ships to Changi Naval Base. Then Secretary of Defense Robert Gates announced it at the Shangri-La Dialogue in 2011. The request came from Singapore.

Last friday's New York Times on this new class of ships: "The first ship, despite the leak and crack, is expected to be deployed next year to Singapore, at the southern edge of the South China Sea, and the one now in sea trials could be ready by 2014."

It's amazing how those Taiwanese Military Analysts talked so knowledgeably on the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) machiam they were the engineers behind its construction.

Its funny that when he said Singapore, he was rounding up Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia and Vietnam. Since when did Singapore take over these countries? Did Ho Jinx activate the Reserves to buy up all these countries?

Further more, USA putting F18 in Malaysia? I recall last time Mahathir said that its no use buying US fighter jet because they can use it to attack say Singapore.

What he said wasn't wrong. ASEAN as a whole does feel threatened by China's military might.
He didn't say US put F18 in Malaysia, the Malaysians do own F18s and US do conduct exercises with their F18s there.

Mahathir said it is better to buy Russian fighter jets than US fighter jets as US fighter jets have many built in software restrictions that restrict what the fighter jet could do, like go bomb Singapore, whereas Russian fighter jets do not have such restrictions.

Why was he not wrong?
You can't reason and debate, please don't get involved.
