go and read the papers . you are so wrong. these bastards were making noise and loudspeakers at 3-4 AM!!!!!!. farking shit everyone is sleeping except them and you must have these noise, loudspeakers, drumming etc at 4 am to wake up everyone in the neighbourhood and you call it thaipusam celebration???even in malaysia and india they do not make noise at 4 am. I have never ever seen lion dance drumming done at 4 am. everyone is sleeping except these bastards. just show inconsiderate these assholes are.Hey bro well said. I am also a supporter of all traditional festivals in all its manifestations. The celebration is somewhat muted nowadays because of all these rules and regulations. To me, Thaipusam celebration is incomplete without all the music accompaniments. In fact, the louder the better! Once a year celebration and still so restrained and constrained! No evidence that this will cause crime rates to escalate.
It's has nothing to do with religious rights . It has to do with noise pollution and disturbing others who have to go to school, kids who have exams the following morning, workers who have work.to do, elderly with illness who need a sound sleep etc , go and farking wake up your reading skills
