Dont compare SG with its controlled media to a true democracy.

Saddam Hussein got more than 90% approval

A reasoning most deserving of derision and contempt. Saddam got 90% approval because only his family members and supporters were allowed to vote. In Singapore everyone is entitled to vote so 70% reflects the reality unlike in Iraq.

"Presidential elections were held in the Republic of Iraq on October 16, 2002, the second under the rule of Saddam Hussein (the first having taken place in 1995). According to official statistics, the turnout was 100%, with all 11,445,638 Iraqis registered to vote having voted "yes" in a referendum whether to support another seven year-term for President Saddam Hussein, which would legally have ended in 2009."

The above shows your ignorance of world affairs

Your ignorance of reality is laughable if you believe the mainstream media there.

LHL received only 69.9% of the votes during GE 2015 despite much manipulation and gerrymandering. That's a disgraceful result compared to what Saddam received

It is official that Saddam received overwhelming support. Like wise pap declares that officially it has 69.9% support. So you choose to believe both?

I believe SG media as much as I believe Iraqi media.

So PAP received 69.9% support and Saddam received more than 90% support

I don't believe Saddam got 90% of the vote but I believe PAP got 69.9%. You don't believe the PAP got 69.9% of the vote?

why is SG press 154 and not 1?

That's due to biased reporting from international news media. SPH has always been well respected by sinkies for their credibility. They don't go around publishing fake news which is common in social media these days.
