Looking at the current PAP 4G leaders, none of them really have any exposure on the ground. On the other side of the coin, we have so many talented and experienced veteran from the opposition camp combined. Let's say WP is not willing to join force with other opposition parties, nothing is lost and Singapore Harapan can still be formed, right? This only possible if opposition camps are willing to cooperate for the greater good.

Hypothetical scenario here:

Prof Paul Anantharajah Tambyah: Minister of Health
Dr Chee Soon Juan: Minister of National Development
Gilbert Goh: Minister of Manpower
Lim Tean: Minister of Law
Jeannette Chong/Teo Soh Lung: Minister of Home Affairs
Benjamin Pwee: Minister of Trade and Industrial Development
Mr Mr John Tan Liang Joo/James Gomez: Minister of Education
Mr Philemon: Minister of Communications
Tan Jee Say/Leong Sze Hian: Minister of Finance
Goh Meng Seng: Minister of Defence
Desmond Lim Bak Chuan/Tan Kin Lian: Minister of Transport

Did I miss out anything?

Of course the above are just a few candidates but if we were to include all other members in the collective parties combined, the formation will be so much better than Pakatan Harapan and can easily fill more than half the seats in parliament.

Let's discuss your thought on whether the above is possible?

Singapore no chance to copycat the Boleh dream. Not qualified.

The opposition not qualified, the voters even worse disqualified. Too many useless FT & PR & New Citizens who deserve to SINK and die with rotten Pee Sai. No survivors.

Deserves no resurrection.

All of the oppies on your list are losers who have never won elections before.

The oppies in jiuhu are different. You have former cabinet ministers and an ex-PM there. You have DAP who has turned Penang into the richest state in the north while the other northern states remain shit poor.

Sinkies oppies have never run a town council before. Those who did long long ago have already retired or faded into oblivion. The current WP is publicly acknowledged by most to have mismanaged their town council for the past few years.

If sinkies want PAP to fall, sinkies have to pray for former PAP heavyweights like ESM Goh, Tan Cheng Bock, Tharman and a whole host of former PAP cadres to leave PAP and join the oppies. That has not happened here.

And BN is no equivalent of PAP. BN is a coalition. UMNO can only hold power thanks to its regional allies. PAP doesn't need any political allies. PAP is dominating the entire scene completely on its own.

Oppies are better off masturbating than hope that their "oppie dream team" can dethrone the invincible PAP.

Oppie unity is something that is good for the country. But it's a long shot. If only each party can put their differences aside. Unfortunately, WP is like PAP lite, hopefully that would change with Pritam at the helm.

Gilbert Goh, Goh Meng Seng, Desmond Lim Bak Chuan, Tan Kin Lian? No way!

I would rather rob in Lee Hsien Yang & Son, Tan Chen Bock, Ngiam Dow Tong, Inderjit Singh...etc. Singapore has no lack of such talents willing to see to the change and the betterment of Singaporeans. WP will continue to be the watchdog for the new govt which is deemed healthy. If you cut away all the unnecessary portfolio in the ministries, you cut down the bureaucrats which is also good for the country.

Dr Tan Cheng Bock for PM
Chee Siok Chin for Minister of Woman Affairs
Jolovan Wham for Minister of LGBT Affairs
Madasamy Ravi for Minister of Law; failing which he can be the Chief Justice or the AG.

Exactly, no lack of the needed talents to form the next govt. The current 4G leaders all army playboys, nothing special about them.

Can u imagine the motley crew of Desmond Lim (dedicated local and whatever rubbish!) taking charge of country? lol!
Desmond is an IT person, he certainly knows a thing or two about engineering as compared to Desmond Quek freshed from camp. Of course I am not saying that the opposition will work alone, they will have a team of expertise at their beck and calls.

I sure hope he knows a thing or two about Engineering, because.... that's his fucking job as an Engineer. It's like hoping that a fisherman knows a thing or two about fishing.

The PAP will not submit itself to a true democratic process of relinquishing power.

How can any other party win an election when the Prime Minister Office runs the election? The bias is already obvious. To believe that the Elections Department reporting to the PM will run a fair election is ludicrous.

The only way to get rid of the PAP is daily mass demonstration for a whole year. Harass the government until the ministers and MPs fear to step out in public.
