TM is just being nice and diplomatic. Singapore's economic is doomed. No supporting brand, no strength and depth in sight. No technological prowess to tap on.

All we have are some giant GLCs with the blessings of PAP took control and suck their people dry by providing some essential service. Singapore is relatively small in area and the property arm of these GLC is killing the economy by their rental seeking behaviour.

our government is clueless......they only know the age old dinosaur method of attracting MNCs to our country to create jobs,offering them tax cuts and tax havens,zero labour laws and non unionization and tripartism and offering our workforce as cheap labour and sacrificial lambs.

instead of building strong powerful MNCs and expanding into other countries and tapping into foreign markets,economies and populations and bringing the bacon home,we are focusing inwards rather than expanding outwards,soon this island will reach a critical mass and the number of human bodies on board the mrt will reach a critical limit,a sinkie and bunch of ft will collide with each other,creating a implosion and chain reaction,sucking every living thing,living matter and atom from the surrounding and compressing it into a tiny singularity before a flash of white light brighter than the sun momentarily dazzles our eyes before it obliterates singapore from the surface of the earth.

We do have local MNCs. But most of these are GLCs.
