Singapore Customs should not let Malaysian vehicles smuggle products to Singapore

Business is tough for many SMEs. Everyday, so many Malaysian vehicles continue to smuggle things into Singapore, no need to pay GST, no invoicing, be it for healthcare, renovation, groceries, etc.

Come on lor Singapore Customs, you never check, you never stop them. Slacking on your job is not only about you, it also destroys local jobs. Worse of all, LTA even let malaysian vehicle driving around Singapore, filled with renovation gears or deliveries. While we paid so much COE, yet local SMEs are disadvantaged even in home ground.

Medical supplies, renovation materials, vegetables (under-declared), fruits (under-declared), cakes, the situation is so fucked up that even bakzhangs (unlicensed import of meats) are smuggled across daily. How do you expect local SMEs to compete?

The customs officers working lazy to catch because they need to write reports?
If regulators don't do their work, it is worse than the offenders.

They should smuggle jiuhu contractors. The home renovation costs have escalated quite a bit in the last 2 years without the jiuhukias.
