The seriousness of measles is WAY over exaggerated. We all used to get measles it was a right of passage. Measles parties were organised to spread the disease in order to gain immunity before adulthood when the infection would be more serious.

Same things with Mumps it spread like wildfire in school and was easily detectable just from the clearly visible swelling.

Percentage wise very few died. The stats from the USA pre 1963 stated in the article pretty much prove the point. In Singapore I cannot recall anyone in my cohort dying from ANY disease during the pre vaccination era.

Let's just take a figure of 3 million cases and 700 died the CFR would be approximately 0.023% which is no worse than the flu.

In the meantime 75,000 have died from fentanyl related overdoses annually since 2022 and the democrats are making every effort to thwart Trump's effort to secure borders and get rid of the drug traffickers who are already in the country. And let's not forget that it is these huge numbers of illegal immigrants that are bringing the virus into the country in the first place. It is estimated that 10 million flooded across the open borders in the last few years all harboring 3rd world diseases which are then spread to the US population.

The only reason why the MSM is making a big issue over a handful of measles deaths is because it feeds their agenda to discredit every aspect of his administration.
