The neglect of the poor will result in many malnutrition kids and they will grow up to be unhealthy adults with many health problems in future. That will overload the health care system.

The negligence to maintain and service MRTs, system and tracks will result in failures, accidents, etc

The neglect to keep SG clean will result in more stray dogs, rats, crows which will cause diseases, etc

You are very correct. One thing leads to another. Bring in the third world people to lower your standard in maintenance and cleanliness and this in time lead to diseases and own people become poorer and no standard. Instead of towards excellence, it becomes a so called tolerant, anything also can do culture.

Ho Ching got her job on merit. Journalists who accused her of pulling strings were successfully sued for defamation. Our PM is poorly paid if you compare his salary against the CEOs of the GLCs. Boost to CPF savings from next year



Workers can expect a small boost to their Central Provident Fund (CPF) savings from Jan 1.

The employers' CPF contribution rates will go up by 1 percentage point for all workers from next month, with the entire increase going into workers' Medisave accounts.

As a result of the rate hike, a 40-year-old worker earning $4,000 a month will get $20,800 more in his Medisave account when he retires at age 65, said the CPF Board in a statement yesterday. The increase was first announced in the annual Budget speech in February.
