STOMPer Eddy took these photos of a cat, which seemed to be waiting for a meal at a rat-infested rubbish dump in Simei.

Says the STOMPEr:

"The whole Remy's family is here in Singapore to meet the Simei residents.

"While Felix the cat is waiting for his big feast, residence of Simei Blk 244 now exposing themselves for another serious rat diseases as there was no action taken after reported to the East Coast Town Council."

Are you sure the cat is about to eat the rat ?? Could be the other way round !!

what the hell is NEA doing? they go round issuing compoundable summon for:
  1. possible mosquito breeding
  2. feeding pigeons/strays
  3. ppl smoking in prohibited areas
  4. spitting/littering
  5. inappropriate disposal of bulky refuse
  6. hawkers/stalls for unhygienic kitchen
  7. unlicensed hawkers

notice, all are revenue generating!!! of which, the diligent officers probably gets some incentives of benefits for hitting and/or exceeding daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual quotas.

but when it comes to pest control for rats, which is going to eat into their costs... they do nothing, and watch them doing tom & jerry in the neighbourhood.

what do they really do with the revenues from the piles of compounded summons? profit sharing? annual D&D function? upgrading of their offices & equipments that are over-spec, under-utilized & depreciated?
