Shoveys taste great especially the jelly part of the head! There are some places that are infested with them, places with lotsa m&d n sand....yummy!
Nice one, broRT! Yummy yummy...there's one eating house at macpherson!
Very true but our boat can't get too close to the Naval base...it's out of bound! I like to get near that area some day to catch some big snappers at nite! Sweet snappers for porridge or steam...shiok is the word! They can still be found in the Changi waters near the Changi Naval base.. There are still some hidden gems inside the Changi waters.. A friend of mine caught a 10 kg Garoupa few days back besides the Tanah Merry ferry terminal..
It's like a zhi-char stall in a kopitiam...4gotten the address but I ate there 2 years ago! The kopitiam is just near the roadside...sorry abt that! Presently, my wife will cook if I brought it home after a fishing trip. So far, I got 3 pieces after so many donkey years of fishing!Which part of Macpherson ah? I promised to take my mom there but dunno the place. Heard it is the best!
U need to pre-order the shovey dish cos they only hve 5-7 pieces a day!Which part of Macpherson ah? I promised to take my mom there but dunno the place. Heard it is the best!

I managed to find this old picture on the Internet.. This giant ray weighing more than 120 kg was caught at the Bedok Jetty back in the early 80s by a man now known as the Bedok Jetty Legend.. Till now no known angler at Bedok Jetty has managed to break his record..
Think I know where it is, somewhere near the reclaimed land....wow, lotsa sand flies! I'll wait for my mrs n kid go holidays then I hit the sand pit....using Abu rocket and a 12 feet lamiglas!
Rod is expensive and produces nice parabolic action! Nice blank...I too use Abu rocket but with 13 ft Zziplex.
