In the battle to save Marjorie Soh's life, her parents spared no expense. The girl was just six when she was diagnosed with a malignant bone cancer. Over the next 6 years, her parents racked up an estimated $400,000 in medical bills - and took hefty bank loans to pay for it.
But all treatments on her was to no avail. She eventually died, aged 12. Her grandmother had to sell her 4-room flat to help pay some of the medical bills. Her parents, Mr Soh and wife are now in deep debts and creditors are harrassing for payments.
PAP and cronies are now laughing all the way to the banks.
