SHE’S been stalked and harassed. She’s even had someone stand in front of her van and refuse to budge for hours.
All because Ms Choo Hong Eng (above), 59, won $416,000 from the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) casino one-and-a-half years ago.
Known as the “Jackpot Auntie”, she had made a complaint against MBS when it refused to pay her the jackpot prize of $416,000, claiming there was a glitch in the slot machine.
Today, every cent of her winnings is gone. No, she did not gamble away the money.
Instead, the vegetarian foodstall owner donated all her winnings to charity – all because strangers kept hounding her for money.
