i can't help to think we are still living in synonymous ancient chinese history which was ruled by an emperor. if u disagree, defame or disrespect the emperor, off goes your head!
here in sg which is still under the lee dynasty ruled by pinky forever wearing his lovely invisible clothings, they don't chop heads. however, they do something quite similar. they sue your heads and pants off!

If you feel your integrity is so fragile that it can be damaged by one person writing a blog, then it begs the question of just how widely and deeply you think the people buy your notion of PAP integrity.
It reminds me of the recording industry suing people for sharing files instead of innovating to meet new demands. Look where they are now.
When you feel your best option is threatening libel suits, it shows you have given up on winning hearts and souls, and satisfied with merely compelling public silence.
Look at the Chinese emperors who beheaded their critics in the vain hope of extending their authority. In every case, it hastened their demise instead. And we know about them hundreds of years later because, alas, you cannot sue and silence history.
