Everybody's flooding Twitter with #SGBudget. Lol. Anyway...
Besides the 10% increase in excise duties in tobacco and 25% increase in excise duties for all types of liquor, guess typical Singaporeans don't really care about the changes announced in Budget unless it affects them right?
If you have old parents who are still working, be happy to know that there is an increase in CPF for them. If they are 50-55 years old, they will receive 2.5% increase in CPF (1.5% for older workers + 1% for all workers)! If they are 55-60, they will receive 1.5% increase (0.5% for older workers + 1% for all workers)!
