[Sg] You want to live on 60th floor HDB? 60-storey flats in first BTO project at Pearl's Hill in over 40 years, as PAP government intensifies land use

I foresee that suicide rates will be very high for fucktards living in these blocks.

If I remember correctly, across the road (Outram Road) from the new BTO site is the SGH mortuary. There might be a good reason why that piece of land was left uninhabited for a long time.

This is the map from the street directory of 1984. There were HDB blocks there, and I believe were built around the same time and had the same design as the ones near Jalan Kukoh.

A lot of famous Chinese restaurants were there too

Sinkieland was far more interesting before I was born or when I was too young to remember.

The Buddhist Tooth Relic Temple was also a more recent addition, and it's main purpose today is a tourist magnet, the temple thing is just a nice bonus.
