Anislag Mikko Villaflores, 24, was sentenced to five months' jail on Nov. 21 after they pleaded guilty to four charges of cheating, attempted cheating and dishonest misappropriation of property, according to local media (CNA and 8world)

Another three charges were taken into consideration.
Anislag was also ordered to pay the victim S$367.32 in compensation.

What happened​

CNA reported that Anislag is from the Philippines and was in Singapore on a social visit pass when they committed the crime.
A report of the court proceedings referred to Anislag using the "he" pronoun and called them a "man", and mentioned that Anislag had undergone gender reassignment surgery.

What happened​

Anislag met the victim on a dating app on Sep. 22, 2022.

They had drinks at a bar near the hotel where Anislag was staying.
The victim, a 36-year-old man, then had consensual sex with Anislag at the accused's hotel.
The victim subsequently left the room without his belongings, including his DBS debit card.

Bought things with debit card​

Anislag took the debit card and bought a S$269.76 AirAsia flight ticket from Bangkok to Manila.
Anislag then used the card to buy a hotel accommodation package in Thailand worth S$1,124.96.

Anislag tried to buy a S$2,679.92 mobile phone but was unable to as they did not have the one-time password to authenticate the transaction to make the purchase.

Police report made​

The victim made a police report on the same day about his missing debit card.
He said he had received a one-time password via two SMSes from DBS to authorise two transactions that he had not made.
Anislag was detained at Changi Airport on Sep. 30 as they tried to fly out to Bangkok.

The judge was informed by the prosecution that Anislag had undergone gender reassignment surgery and had concerns about which prison they would be going to.
However, the judge said he would include a memo about Anislag's gender reassignment surgery and left it to the prison service to make arrangements.
Anislag cried in court as their mother has a medical issue, CNA reported.
Anislag did not know who took her to the hospital for her weekly injection.
The prosecution added that no losses were suffered by the bank or hotel.

May MHA have compassion.

To undergo painful surgery is no small matter. Once the surgery is sadly done, wisely or unwisely & is the medical field to answer, the deed had been done. That Fellow Human born to be man, but by his OWN free will & choice, had chosen instead to be a female, & in the course of probably MISCONCEPTIONS on WHAT True femininity means, which is MORE than just sex & a means to earn a living which resulted 'her' being involved in a Court civil issue, 'she' now face issues far beyond her comprehension & consequences, which SOCIETY had to decide, for 'her' well being.

We Singaporeans live by the Golden Rule & mean her no harm. However JUSTICE must be served in our Rule of Law Nation.

Ultimately, we citizens have to consider too the other inmates - whom are only fellow citizens or live here serving sentences for mistakes they made & are being rehabilitated.

Most are segregated by gender, for their own bodily, mental & sexual protection. For gays or lesbians, it is no issue, as they are by BIOLOGICAL & PHYSICAL definition - are either males or females by their PHYSICAL attributes, & thus will be treated as such for accommodation in jails, so as to NOT distract the rehabilitation process.

For transgenders & those whom do have PHYSICAL evidence of their sexual appendages or the LACK of it, then they will just go into the gender assigned jail accordingly to their physical appearances, to serve out their sentences & rehabilitation.

They will NOT be able to harm other inmates, as in a female jail - without the male sexual appendage, they cant do anything or further harm, & if they are female by birth, but with a male transplanted sexual organ which is rare, they will be treated as male & will have to protect themselves like any other inmates, & perhaps more training, budget & equipment for prison wardens to protect such misguided Humans to ensure they remain focus on rehabilitation for their crimes committed, so as to have a 2nd chance in life to return to our community whole.
