The average retirement age in Singapore is 62. But today, it’s increasingly common to hear of millennials who want to retire by their 40s, even before they hit 35.

In the past, people patiently worked and saved towards their destination of financial independence: Retirement in their silver age.

Now, many are sprinting towards early retirement, attracted by the prospect of living life on their terms as early as possible. To do so, millennials are subscribing to the FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) movement.

Adherents of FIRE aim to save 70 per cent or more of their full-time income. The holy grail is to save 25 times of one’s annual expenses and make 4 per cent annual withdrawals for living expenditures.

Be like our resident virgin. Retire in early 40s and start hearing noises, fireworks, whistling, knocks and whatsoever she can imagine or hallucinate.

Then start harassing neighbours, strangers, Ministers, SPF, SBF forum participants and whoever she can take out on to make herself satisfied and confident that she is the best and purest virgin woman in the world.

Retire at 35 end up getting dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's....

Don't get married, don't have children, for guys, don't find yourself a girlfriend and you'll retire by 35. Move to Thailand, you can retire before 30. For guys, especially the last part; with the money you spend on girlfriends, you can find 2-3 different FL ladies every week with no-strings attached. More importantly, a girl will not stay 18 years old but there will always be girls who are 18 years old :roflmao:

Before the leetirement plan leesident virgin have to scheme for more money and that leesulted with a overnight leecision to purchase a jb whore house. Same time think of swallowing aged mum wealth . Along the way need to think and squeeze more money so made leecision to rent out own house and rent another house to live on the difference in rent and leesulting with harassing neighbours whenever she goes.
This kind of leetirement tsk tsk tsk

All good but where to find the money to get that 1-3 different FL ladies every week?

nothing wrong to have such vision.

I know a three young chaps who played a lot of cryptos to reach their retirement goals, those two who entered a few years ago are still sitting on over $100,000 winnings but one entered last year got burnt and lost several years worth of salary.

If boss Sam issues cryptos, @zhihau and I will sure support fully!

Careful if Ah Sam were to issue coins, could be rug pull deal

The age that is set by the govt?
We don't live our life set by another person or organisation, we live our life set by ourselves.
Other than gov pegging cpf withdrawal age with an announced leetirement age there is nothing else about leetirement age that can be set by the gov although it seems like the announcement will also determine whether a company should continue hiring them. It is still all upto the discreet of the company but it seems like workers can use this announcement age to threaten the company into continuing engaging their servid which my uncle think is nonsense becas some people brain already dead at 70 while some still active but company are made obliged to continue hiring them as jlb.

These are termed leetirement and lee employment age.

In summary My uncle think what it does is
1. Cpf withdrawal age can be affected
2. Companies are made obliged to continue the servid of jlb

You can retire or at least semi-retire at any age you want.

You don't need a trashy, meddling government to mandate what is the 'official' age you should be retiring.

Once again, stop seeing governments, especially the PAP government, as a benevolent but stern parent figure who is always looking out for your best interests. Nothing can be further from the truth, check if you have been brainwashed.

How to communicate? Do they have gender certificates issued by the authorities, just to be sure.

Either the younger generation is smarter or they are very lazy.

Mostly the brain train them for quick returns.
yalor, they only want instant gratification and slack off as quick as they can. We old timers see the journey as part of the destination, stop and smell the roses, fuck a few pussies along the way.

My nephews seem to have the same mindset too. Make it big as young as possible, then fuck back and relax.

But I think life isn't that simple. Even if one manages to make it big young, or get a huge inheritance at a young age, the clock still moves at the same speed for everyone. Over time and years of not working, I think most will end with with depression. :roflmao:
