I’ve seen folks switching careers into solar and doing quite well, especially as demand for solar installation technicians grows. My cousin left his desk job and got trained in less than a year — now he's making more than before and feels good doing something useful. Can’t say it’s for everyone, but it’s real work with solid future potential, especially as more people go green.
