I'm not being anti front wheel drive just for the sake of it but try as they may no car company has been able to eliminate the torque feedback that results from having both power and steering on the same wheels.
Audi also fwd, no?

FWD with mcpherson struts and with CVT, this means it will never be anywhere near sporty, it's handling will be as tame as an altis. However, it is designed to be a plush people mover, a silent, big vehicle.

Audis, even though are FWD, employs multi-link suspension with aggressive gearing ratios and it's traction control with electronic slip differentials are also very sensitive, resulting in a very capable sporty drive.
