Shockingly dreadful condition of kids playground in Tampines north smacked right in the backyard of Tampines MP/Town Council Chairman Baey Yam Keng's constituency. Ironically dis kids playground is right in front of the foodcourt where Baey holds his monthly "kopitalk" Wonder how he can go there every month to talk cock and not notice the deplorable condition of the kids playground right infront of him?

Well, to be fair, that rubber matting does wear out quite fast. Should have kept those retro sand playground, but paranoid Sinkie parents are scared of their kids stepping on broken glass, rusty nails and cat shit, so they lobbied the PAP politicians to build 'child-safe' playgrounds.

More worrying these days are plenty of rats scurrying around void decks and HDB estates... and please don't tell me that it's because Sinkies are feeding stray dogs. I have a nagging suspicion that the overzealous culling and sterilizing of stray cats has something to do with this.
