Actually, I don't get it. Isn't it to their disadvantage if the maid doesn't get to shower or brush teeth regularly? Imagine the smell. It's also not to their advantage of starving the maid. If she falls sick, she can't work. How the fark do these mudderfarkers think?

It's the "kick" that one gets from bullying another. After a while, the sense of being in control and total domination of another gets the better of you. You see glimpses of such behaviour in this forum too, and it's a pretty common trait among Singaporeans-based forums, especially people who couldn't bully another in real life.

Singaporeans are behaving this way probably because they are being ass-drilled by the government day in day out, and they just need to "act tough" in the virtual world. But for the two employers, they are happy to get a taste of it in real life.
