A SEAT assembly of the rollercoaster at Universal Studios Singapore (USS) had detached during morning tests on March 25, forcing the attractions closure since then.
This was revealed in preliminary findings on the Battlestar Galactica ride, which was presented to the Public Entertainment Licensing Unit (PELU) on Friday.

Old news. It was known that seats fell off and certain sections have to reconstructed.

This was a close miss.

One ride later and kids would be on the rides already. Its only by pure luck no one was killed.

The makers missed a stripdown protocol after x runs?

They said it's not pure luck. They got quality control to prevent and stop such accident.

The roller coaster have been use by passenger for few day. And doing the daily test on morning the seat fell off. That I called pure luck.
What happen if the seat still intact after the test? Sure likely the seat will fall off after few round with human passengers.

That's perhaps pure unlucky.
