Save our local gems like Ivins Peranakan Restaurant

no money to makan there siah .... its like burning away SGD in the 7th month .... :whistling:
As we age, we are not going to spend much money on clothing and shoes anymore, but more on experiences which include travel and food. A nice meal at an expensive restaurant once in awhile is alright.

My classmate who retired early, thought that travelling with his wife would be fun. After 2 years of travelling up to 4 times a year, they came to the conclusion that cities, food, entertainment, shopping, airports, subways etc. seemed to serve up similar fare, sights and sounds. Italian, French, Japanese, Chinese, Korean dishes were served in different destinations they travelled to. Fashion and footwear they saw in SG or online were sold in several different countries. We live in such a globalised world.
